My buddy and I hit the south again (is there anywhere else?) around 2. The conditions were nice, real nice. We started around marker number 35 and started working the kelp with our texas rigs. Bites started right away and I lost something that fought hard and heavy. It was able to shake my hook after a couple nice runs. I was bummed, I haven't been out fishing for a while and I just didn't set the hook hard enough. My buddy started catching some little rockies and a beautiful Kelp Greenling that were all released. I kept missing bites for a while but I just needed to get warmed up and I started grabbin some little rockies too. One of them was big enough to keep so I named it Lucky before I bagged it up. We kept nailin a small variety of little rockies. A bunch of Blacks, we each got a copper and my buddy landed that beauty of a Greenling.
We left around 5.

On the way home after watching a ballet performance, the kindergarten teacher asked her students what they thought of it. The smallest girl in the class said she wished the dancers were taller so that they would not have to stand on their toes all the time.
