Spiny dogfish are still all over the place, but at least the quality has been improving. Five of us fished with squid on slider rigs for the last hour of the outgoing and the first two hours of the incoming tide for two brown smoothhounds and a TON of dogfish, with most of the doggies in the 30"-40" range. Fish of the night taped out at 44", not too bad. We even had a couple triple hookups and a bunch of doubles, indicating the sharks were moving around in big schools. Get out here right after sunset on a low tide and you'll be in business.
