Got to the South at about 10:45 and started workin marker 32. I picked up a little Black pretty quick and hoped that would set the tone for the day but, no. I kept workin down to the 20s and started missin bites. Most of the bites were nothin special but, a couple were nice that I should've had. One I can almost guarantee was a heavy hittin Cab judgin by how shredded my line and lure were after just one hit. Another was a nice size Copper that I saw b4 he spit my lure cause I fumbled my rod a little and gave it some slack. I brought a cooler and some ice so I could stay longer and not have to go home to clean the fish b4 I had to pick up my son from school but, I didn't need it. I split at 2 totally bummed, especially cause on the cast I said was the last I snagged and had to break off. Oh well, that's how it goes sometimes and I will be back.
Well, ya can't win em all. How was the swell out there? It was nice on the north wall. Still waiting for slightly calmer seas before I make the 26 mile trip to the SJ.
The swell was swell. No, just kiddin, it was calm and sunny when I got out there, then a thick overcast turned into thick fog and then that burned off and it was sunny and clear again. There was a moment when the water made me go to a higher rock but it leveled out again.
