Hit the South at 5 pm and headed to marder 32. Started workin the Yum Dinger from there. Nice conditions except for the thick fog, otherwise the water was calm and it wasn't too cold. I worked my way down for a little bit and came to a spot where I finally started gettin pecked at. It was right in front of me in the top of the water column. It hit the worm pretty good a couple of times, but I couldn't get it to stick. I pulled out the back up rod with a 4" swimmer and tried to get it to hit that. It didn't want any thing to do with that one. I put the worm back in its face a couple times till finally I got it to stick. It was a short Cabezon, a little over 13", really good little fighter, released. Kept workin down till a little after 6, then I moved up to the mid 40s. I sidled up to a bunch of bait fishermen and women who had been there for a while. They hadn't caught much and neither did I. I thought I was going to stay till 7, but I got a call that made me leave at about 6:40. I know my reports have been very limited on locations, this is cause of a couple reason. I am going through a major life change right now, having just got full custody of my 10 yr old son. This is taking up a lot of my time, so I can't go too far. Also with this life change I need the extra money I would otherwise be spending on over priced gas. He's definitely worth it
