Today was the first nice day in a long time. No rain, no wind, minimal clouds, no rough waters, obviously I had to fish. I ran across the street at 10:30 and started on the north rocks. At the tip I was dippin with a 1/2oz texas rigged Gulp Shrimp in a hole that kept giving me bites but I couldn't stick it. I figured a small Greenling or maybe Rocky. I worked those rocks till 12 without another bite. I went down to the south rocks where a couple of guys by the names of Mike and Stretch were grabbin big Stripped Perch. They had a bucket of about 6 at least 15" each still breathing. I had been watching them from the north rocks but never saw them hook up. I brought my ultra light just in case of Perch but I must have got there right as the bite stopped. I hope that wasn't my bad luck. They split a while after I arrived and I continued the skunk. I split at about 1:15.
